"According to reports, the singer hoped to throw a big bash at a club in New York, Las Vegas or Miami. But he has run into trouble because venue owners and promoters don’t want to endorse a “woman beater” and are worried that they will upset Rihanna if they accommodate him." Diggy Simmons Speaks On His Record Deal
As of earlier this month, Daniel 'Diggy' Simmons is the newest member of Atlantic Records. He recently released a mixtape showcasing his skills for the world to hear but it wasn't until his cover over Nas' 'Made You Look' when Diggy's message was made clear. Shortly after, he was presented with a deal that will release his debut album. His brother, Jojo recently tweeted:
"Diggy is gon take over and I'm there to support him! Family don't compete with each other, we complete each other,"

First it was Rocko and Monica, now Enews! has reported that Kim has issued an official statement confirming the split. Kim says that the break-up was mutual and blames her busy schedule as the wedge that forced them to part.
"Kim’s fame and crazy busy schedule have been an ongoing source of conflict for the couple, who reunited last August after a quick breakup.
Reggie always had trouble with the spotlight, our source tells us.

Well not quite yet! Tiny recently chatted it up with the folks over at VIBE and hinted that a wedding between her and T.I. may be happening sooner than we think. Since his return home this past December, Tiny has fallin in love all over again with her long-time fiance.
“We just picked up where we left off and we just, you know, I’m just in love all over again.”Tiny addresses rumors that the date is set for this summer by saying that it will happen sometime in 2010 and that it will accommodate all of about 2oo guests.
T.I. is serving his final days in Atlanta and gearing up for his next album due out in August. Tiny is gearing up for the second season release of her BET reality hit, Tiny and Toya.

Wal-Mart shopper’s in Washington Township, New Jersey were in for quite a shock when while shopping an announcement was made stating,
The Associated Press reports that immediately following the announcement a manager jumped onto the intercom and apologized for the shocking announcement. “I want to know why such statements are being made, because it flies in the face of what we teach our children about tolerance for all,” a woman who was shopping in the store told the AP. “If this was meant to be a prank, there’s only one person laughing, and it’s not either one of us.” It is still unclear if the announcement was made by a customer or employee of the store. Mike Tyson's New Show Is For The Birds
Literally! Word is, Tyson has a reality show about the underground world of Urban Pigeon Racing!
The show is titled, "Taking On Tyson" and explores his love for the birds. The producers thought he would be a great fit since he's been raising pigeons since he was a kid.
“I feel a great pride acting as an official representative for all the pigeon fancier’s out there,” Tyson said in the press release. “I want people to see why we love these birds. It feels good returning to the rooftops of the city where it all started for me – New York.”

We just came across an interview by Dead Prez's M1 regarding the transformation of hip-hop. As much as I'm a fan of the music as a whole. I see where he's coming from.
Here's what he had to say on the evolution of hip hop:
"What happened to hip hop was the use of capitalism in hip hop. I was listening to EPMD the other day, and Parrish said—I don’t want to misquote him—but he said, “And I still don’t see one rapper living comfortably.” Things have changed since that time. We have found artists who have developed the capitalist mold into their way of thinking. Artists have even shifted from the artistry to how well you can make money.Interesting....
That really shows how good of an MC you can be. So if you come on the scene, and you are seen as someone who can be influential and knows how to turn capital over, then generally you can speak the language of hip hop. That’s why Jay-Z has found affluence, and Young Jeezy, the moneymaking aspect of it. To me, that’s the poison. That’s the poison in it, is the indoctrination of capitalism. Not to say we don’t need people to understand the business of making money; but the model wasn’t Marcus Garvey—the model became people like Rockefeller.”
