The Augusta Chronicles reports talks of a whites only basketball league that will ban blacks and foreigners. The league is set to start in 12 cities across the nation this summer and says that it will represent white American-born citizens who are now a minority. The league is commissioned by Don "Moose" Lewis who claims that he is not racist."Lewis said he wants to emphasize fundamental basketball instead of "street-ball" played by "people of color." ... "Would you want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?" he said. So looks like Baby Blue, whose government name is Diamond Smith (I'm not going to comment on his real name) has gone and got a girl pregnant. The sad part is that he doesn't want anything to do with it.
Duane Martin, of All of Us, wrote a letter putting Blue on blast about his negligence. Apparently, Smith has been dating his wife's (Tisha Campbell-Martin) 25 year old sister, Tiara for the last 5 years and now she's 5 months pregnant.
Peep what Duane had to say bout all this:
"…One thing lead to another and now she’s five months pregnant by him. I spoke to Blue in October and I would never imagine him being the way he is. He doesn’t call back, he doesn’t check on her and he’s also ignoring her phone calls. She and the family are really hurt by this.
I’m a father, so if I have to blast him to make him become a father, then I will do just that. Tisha has five sisters and one brother and she cares for them very much, so to hear that her sister wants to abort the baby because she feels like she made a mistake hurts Tisha. When you mess with my wife or my family then I become upset, especially when I tried to reach out to him in the beginning, instead of taking it to the next level.

LaLa Schools Us On How Latinas Are Like Blacks
Lala Vasquez gets lots of heat from people who tend to forget that she's Puerto Rican and accuse her of trying to be black. On a recent web post, the future Mrs. Carmelo Anthony (they finally set a date for Summer 2010) wrote a letter explaining her ethnicity and how she raises her son to recognize his Latin and African-American roots.
"A lot of people don’t realize that I’m Latina, which is fine. One thing about being Latina is that there isn’t one look that comes with the territory. I don’t expect people to know my cultural background just by glancing at me. I do, however, expect that when I tell people my family is from Puerto Rico, that I will be believed and not accused of trying to be something that I’m not. It usually goes something like this: a person having a conversation with me discovers one way or another that I’m Puerto Rican and fluent in Spanish. That person then expresses their shock over these realizations for any number of reasons–common responses are, “You don’t look Latina” and “I thought you were black!” I never said I wasn’t black. And since when does being black and being Latina have to be mutually exclusive?
In my experience, people tend to have an uninformed and rather narrow view of what it means to be Puerto Rican. For me, not looking like some people’s idea of a typical Latina has been challenging and often painful. I constantly find myself trying to justify who I am, and why should I? I’m proud of my heritage and my family. Both of my parents are from Puerto Rico. They raised two kids in Brooklyn and later in New Jersey, where we ate arroz con gandules and pasteles and listened to salsa music. I feel just as at home in Puerto Rico, where I still have tons of family, including aunts, uncles and cousins. Puerto Rico is in my blood. And that has nothing to do with the color of my skin.
I’m not angry with anyone who doesn’t understand the complexities of race and culture. And I’m also not interested in having long, drawn out conversations about how it’s possible for me to look like this and speak Spanish. In fact, sometimes I make it a point not to mention my parents’ birthplace because I don’t always feel like having the inevitable discussion that follows. Instead, I let people look at me and come to their own conclusions. As I start to get my feet wet in Hollywood, I already know that there are certain parts I won’t even be considered for. The character can be Puerto Rican and speak Spanish just like me, but Hollywood defines Latina as Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Vergara. As beautiful as they are, we’re not all one race in Latin America. But I don’t go to auditions so that I can give history lessons to film executives. I’d rather skip the entire process.
I’m raising my son to understand who he is, and it’s my hope that he’ll never let others define him. It reflects poorly on us when we don’t educate ourselves about the rest of the world and what it looks like. I encourage people who are interested to learn more, do research and ask informed questions. If you’re lucky enough to visit various countries in Latin America, you’ll be baffled to see the blackest of the black and the lightest of the light living together. And I dare you to ask one of them to prove their latinidad." SOURCE

According to MTV, Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, and Trey Songz are working together to record a possible album. The three are currently gearing up for the second leg of the BP3 tour and told Mixtape Daily that they have already started to call themselves the Mob Squad.
"The way Jay explained it to me, he wanted to give people the best show possible," Songz told Mixtape Daily Thursday. "They could have easily done it by themselves and it'd be great. BREAKING NEWS:: Another Earthquake Hits Haiti
It has been reported that Haiti has been struck with another earthquake today. Today's ground shattering disaster rated in at a 6.0 (last week's devastating quake was a 7.0) and was centered about 36 miles away from Port-Au-Prince. Currently, there is no word on any injuries but quake has caused a slight panic. Some are saying that today's quake stemmed from aftershock from yesterday's quake in the Cayman Islands.
"The United States is sending more ships to Haiti to help with recovery from last week's 7.0 magnitude earthquake, which killed an estimated 200,000 people. This will include a vessel designed to clear debris blocking the main port in the capital, Port-au-Prince. The debris has prevented larger ships with food and other vital supplies from making deliveries. Some damaged buildings in the Haitian capital have been ransacked by people searching for supplies as they await more relief. American troops have been providing security for food and water deliveries. About 3,500 additional U.N. security personnel are also being sent to Haiti to help prevent looting." SOURCE

RIP::: Teddy Pendergrass, 59
Legendary R&B singer, Teddy Pendergrass, died at the age of 59 last night in Philadelphia. Teddy P was the genius beyond hits such as Close The Door, Come On Over To My Place, Turn Off The Lights, and When Somebody Loves You Back. The actual cause of his death is uncertain but he has been sick for some time now. Due to a car accident back in 1982, he was also confined to a wheelchair as a quadriplegic.
"A close family friend confirmed to the BV Newswire that the ailing crooner died tonight.
The cause of death is unknown and details are pending.
Last summer, buzz started brewing that the ‘Love T.K.O.’ singer was on his deathbed.At the time, the Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter was hospitalized at Philadelphia’s Bryn Mawr Hospital for about a month, and the nature of his illness was not publicly known. He and his new wife, Joan, addressed the rumors and expressed gratitude to his loyal legion of fans for their support.
“I wish to thank my fans for their prayers, concerns and love,” Pendergrass disclosed in a statement. “While I have faced recent health challenges, I am in the care of my wonderful doctors, wife Joan and family.”

BREAKING NEWS:: Catastrophic Earthquake Destroys Haiti
A terrible earthquake struck the coast of Haiti yesterday afternoon. Researchers say the 7.0 magnitude quake is the strongest to hit earth in more than 200 years. News reports are estimating over 1000 people wont survive this horrible disaster.

"The strongest earthquake in more than 200 years rocked Haiti on Tuesday, collapsing a hospital where people screamed for help and heavily damaging the National Palace, U.N. peacekeeper headquarters and other buildings. U.S. officials reported bodies in the streets and an aid official described "total disaster and chaos."
United Nations officials said hours after the 7.0-magnitude quake struck at 4:53 p.m. that they still couldn't account for a large number of U.N. personnel.
Communications were widely disrupted, making it impossible to get a full picture of damage as powerful aftershocks shook a desperately poor country where many buildings are flimsy. Electricity was out in some places.
Karel Zelenka, a Catholic Relief Services representative in Port-au-Prince, told U.S. colleagues before phone service failed that "there must be thousands of people dead," according to a spokeswoman for the aid group, Sara Fajardo.
"He reported that it was just total disaster and chaos, that there were clouds of dust surrounding Port-au-Prince," Fajardo said from the group's offices in Maryland.
State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said in Washington that U.S. Embassy personnel were "literally in the dark" after power failed.
"They reported structures down. They reported a lot of walls down. They did see a number of bodies in the street and on the sidewalk that had been hit by debris. So clearly, there's going to be serious loss of life in this," he said.
The Diocese of Norwich, Connecticut, said at least two Americans working at its Haitian aid mission were believed trapped in rubble.
Alain Le Roy, the U.N. peacekeeping chief in New York, said late Tuesday that the headquarters of the 9,000-member Haiti peacekeeping mission and other U.N. installations were seriously damaged.
"Contacts with the U.N. on the ground have been severely hampered," Le Roy said in a statement, adding: "For the moment, a large number of personnel remain unaccounted for."
Felix Augustin, Haiti's consul general in New York, said a portion of the National Palace had disintegrated.
"Buildings collapsed all over the place," he said. "We have lives that are destroyed. ... It will take at least two or three days for people to know what's going on."
