Oprah celebrated the the 10th birthday of her O Magazine with her staff by surprising all those who came to work yesterday with $10,000 AND a leather-bound iPad! EACH employee was presented with their thank-you gifts no matter how long they had been employed there.
I bet the new-kid-on-the-block must feel like the luckiest person on earth!
A Hearst spokesperson states:
"These were personal gifts to the staff from Oprah to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the magazine."
Rapper Young Jeezy and his Street Dreamz Foundation surprised some local Atlanta youth for their hard work in school this year. Select students were taken to the Metrolanes Skating and Bowling Center where Jeezy passed out gifts and even shocked a few parents by paying some of their bills!! The kids were selected for their hard works of studying and attending class in order to pass their state mandated tests.
Definitely a good look!!
The M-E-T-H-O-D Man and his partna in crime, Redman are teaming up with the barbers of Staten Island’s Against Da’ Grain boutique barbershop for their annual community efforts event. This year kids ages 12 and under who visit ADG on the day before Easter will receive a free haircut. The offer is available from 12pm - 5pm on April 3rd.
