1 (1) Florida (10) 4-0 368 The Gators were surely among the more interested observers of LSU's escape act against Georgia. Florida will anxiously wait on any news concerning Tim Tebow's status ahead of its trip to Baton Rouge.

2 (2) Alabama (5) 5-0 360 Alabama's offensive machine kept rolling along in a 38-20 win over Kentucky. Mark Ingram rushed for a career-high 140 yards and two touchdowns for the Tide, who have scored more than 30 points in each of their five games this season.

3 (3) Texas 4-0 352 It was a forgettable weekend for the Big 12, so maybe it was best Texas was off during Week 5. The Longhorns resume conference action Saturday night with a visit from Colorado (ESPN, 7:15 p.m. ET).

4 (5) LSU 5-0 322 Once again, LSU left it late. This time, the Tigers needed Charles Scott's 33-yard TD run in the final minute to push them past Georgia. It's an act they won't want to keep repeating though, especially with a visit from Florida looming.

5 (6) Virginia Tech 4-1 303 It would have given new meaning to the term "trap game" had VT fallen to Duke a week removed from its win over Miami. But Tyrod Taylor (327 yards passing, two TDs) engineered some impressive scoring drives to spare the Hokies some mighty embarrassment.

6 (4) Boise State 5-0 289 Kellen Moore's three TD passes led the Broncos to a 34-16 win over UC Davis. It seems Boise State's biggest battle will be against itself the rest of the way because the schedule doesn't offer many more frightening matchups.

7 (7) USC 4-1 284 Joe McKnight rushed for 119 yards and two TDs as USC added a second humiliating defeat, 30-3, to double Cal's misery. The Trojans now head into a bye week to prepare for their trip to South Bend to play Notre Dame on Oct. 17.

8 (12) Ohio State 4-1 254 Terrelle Pryor passed for three TDs and rushed for another in a 33-14 win over Indiana. OSU has scored more than 30 points in each of its past three games and will try to drop Wisconsin from the ranks of the unbeatens when the Badgers visit Saturday.

9 (9) Cincinnati 5-0 248 Cincinnati rushed for 164 yards as a team -- led by Jacob Ramsey's 103 yards and three TDs -- in a 37-13 win over Miami (Ohio). Yards on the ground will be much harder to come by next week when the Bearcats battle for Big East supremacy at South Florida.

10 (10) TCU 4-0 240 TCU overcame a sleepy start against SMU to roll past the Mustangs 39-14. The Horned Frogs begin MWC play Saturday with a visit to Air Force, which currently sits atop the MWC standings after a 2-0 start.

11 (16) Miami (FL) 3-1 236 Maybe Jacory Harris is right. Maybe some SpongeBob is the perfect remedy for Miami after it was a bit guilty of believing in its own hype. There was nothing cartoonish about the Canes' performance in their win over OU -- and the schedule only gets softer.

12 (13) Iowa 5-0 231 The good cheer from the win at Penn State would have been instantly forgotten had Iowa followed it with a loss to Arkansas State. But Ricky Stanzi (296 yards, three TDs) dragged the Hawkeyes across the finish line in a 24-21 win.

13 (17) Oregon 4-1 190 Oregon enjoyed another offensive smorgasbord at home -- this time at the expense of Washington State. The Ducks racked up more than 500 yards of total offense in a 52-6 win. They hit the road the next two weeks with trips to UCLA and Washington.

14 (15) Penn State 4-1 146 Penn State needed to bounce back in a big way after its crushing loss to Iowa. Fortunately for the Nittany Lions, Illinois was next on the schedule. PSU rushed for 338 yards as a team -- led by Stephfon Green's 120 yards -- in a 35-17 win.

15 (27) Auburn 5-0 140 The surprise team of the SEC keeps rolling as Auburn returns to the Top 25 after holding off Tennessee 26-22 on the road. The Tigers stay on the road in their next game with a visit to Arkansas.

16 (14) Oklahoma State 3-1 137 Oklahoma State was off during Week 5. The Cowboys hit the road Saturday for their Big 12 opener at Texas A&M.

17 (19) Kansas 4-0 116 Kansas was yet another Big 12 team that had a bye during Week 5, giving the Jayhawks an extra week to prepare for their Big 12 opener at home against Iowa State.

18 (8) Oklahoma 2-2 112 Miami outgained Oklahoma by just 1 yard, and in the end, only one point separated the two teams. With two losses, the Sooners face an uphill battle the rest of the way, especially as a resumption of pleasantries with Texas is just two weeks away.

19 (21) Nebraska 3-1 91 The Cornhuskers get a chance to derail Missouri's bid for another Big 12 North title in Week 5's midweek matchup. Nebraska can take a solid step toward regaining its divisional crown with a win in Missouri on Thursday night (ESPN, 9 p.m. ET).

20 (22) Brigham Young 4-1 72 Max Hall (218 yards passing, three TDs) and Harvey Unga (118 yards rushing, one TD) paced BYU in its 35-17 win over Utah State. The Cougars now prepare for a stretch that sees them on the road for four of their next five games.

21 (23) Mississippi 3-1 61 Jevan Snead (three TDs, three INTs) didn't exactly silence his critics in a 23-7 win over Vanderbilt, but Ole Miss will be happy to get back in the win column. The Rebels' BCS hopes might sink or swim based on the result of Alabama's visit Saturday.

22 (26) Missouri 4-0 49 A Big 12 North midweek treat sees Missouri face its biggest test yet against Nebraska. The Tigers -- and QB Blaine Gabbert -- are still something of an unknown quantity, but there's no lack of familiarity between these two divisional rivals.

22 (25) South Florida 5-0 49 Greg Paulus isn't the first quarterback nor will he be the last to have nightmares after facing South Florida's defense. The Bulls picked off the Syracuse QB five times in a 34-20 win. They now gear up for a visit from fellow Big East unbeaten Cincinnati.

24 (30) Georgia Tech 4-1 46 Georgia Tech earned an SEC road win at Mississippi State as Josh Nesbitt threw for a career-high 266 yards on just 11-of-14 passing. The Yellow Jackets feasted on five Bulldogs turnovers in their second straight win since losing at Miami.

25 (NR) Stanford 4-1 38 Ladies and gentlemen, your Pac-10 leader is ... Stanford? The Cardinal enter the Top 25 after sending UCLA to its first loss of the season with a 24-16 win.
