Shyne Released From Jail

Rapper, Shyne (also known as Jamal Barrow) was released from prison on Tuesday, Oct. 6th. If you don't remember, Shyne was arrested back in '99 on assault, reckless involvement in endangerment, and possession of weapon charges.
He was involved in a much-publicized shootout in Manhattan’s Club New York. Shyne, his boss Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were partying in the club when the shootout began and Shyne made him a party in the incident. He was sentenced for 10-years imprisonment. Shyne was 21 years old at the time he was sentenced. He is now 30 and has grown up in the prison. Shyne didn’t let the prison overcome his talent or fade his creative streaks. He continued working on his music and released two albums during imprisonment. His album Godfather Buried Alive was certified Gold. The album was released through Def Jam Records. The other album released by the rapper was released by Bad Boy Records and was certified Platinum. There were speculations and rumors that Shyne has signed with record labels such as Roc Nations and Death Row Records but Shyne never confirmed these rumors. Shyne has served in Riker’s Island, Woodbourne and Clinton Correctional Facility as a prisoner.
Diddy had an excited comment on Shyne's return home........

“It’s a blessing that he’s coming home.....I spoke to him like a couple of weeks ago and he sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of [many] talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with. I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and has some heat,”
