VIDEO OF THE DAY: WHEN GROUPIE LOVE GOES BAD
Brawl at Bethune Cookman University
As reported to AP (Associated Press), 5 people were injured and 1 arrested yesterday at Bethune-Cookman University after a massive brawl broke out. The entire incident took place after a sprinkler went off due to someone hanging clothes off it in Bronson Hall. Approximately 150 students were ordered to evacuate. Several fights broke out after being denied access back into the on-campus facility.
A student, Curtis Fluker, was charged with criminal mischief for throwing the chair through the window, causing $1000 in damages. Staff officials at the school are currently conducting an investigation to find out the exact cause of the disruption.

Cleveland's Mayor Brewer has had some photos of him dressed in drag leaked to the public. His response to the media coverage of shots of him in Jimmy Choos hasn't really confirmed or denied his identity in the photos. This is a damn shame.

Diddy Ditches His Label
If you were expecting to cop Diddy's upcoming “Last Train to Paris” album, then you might wanna sit back and relax for a little while. That collection of songs wont hit shelves anytime this month like it was originally planned. Diddy recently resleased a statement confirming his plans for splitting with Warner/Atlantic Records.
"Now that the term of the Warner deal has ended, I have elected to accept an opportunity to move my recording career and future label venture to another company," Diddy said in a statement to Billboard Magazine.
It looks as though Diddy maybe joining Interscope's roster, which will make him lablemate to stars such as 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, and Eminem.
As for acts currently signed to Bad Boy, Diddy's departure will have no effect on their current contracts.

Yesterday, Lil Wayne celebrated his 27th Birthday with his 'Daddy' and family. Baby presented his 'son' with a million-dollar diamond encrusted Chopard watch. In addition to the watch, Wayne and friends popped bottles of Dom Pérignon and munched on a cake that was laced with ice. Happy belated, Weezy!
We ALSO, would like to wish a happy birthday to Melody Thornton (of the Pussycat Dolls) today! This past weekend she celebrated her 25th at Beso Restaurant with family and friends out in Hollywood, CA.

Here are just a few shots we found on the wedding that we all weren't sure was gonna actually happen. From the looks of it, Lauren London, Kendall and Kylie Kardashian, and Kadijah and Malika Haqq (The Twins from the movie ATL) were decked out in Vera Wang bridesmaids dresses. The newly weds were serenaded by Babyface at the reception ceremony and Kobe and Vanessa Bryant even grabbed the mic to bless them on their future. A gang of pics, but no pic of the bride and groom....INTERESTING!
It doesn't look like the Odom family were anywhere in sight. I always wondered how they felt about this lil situation anyway. Guess we know the real deal now! I have a feeling, drama is on its way.

Mashonda Tells Alicia to Grow Up!
So Alicia Keys thought she was slick by posting this to her followers on Twitter:"Having a heated debate n the studio. Question is…N love is it better to go 4 the choice that is ‘SMART’ or the choice that has ‘SPARK’??"
If you are familiar with the whole drama of Alicia being the alleged reason for Swizz's and Mashonda's divorce then you know Miss Ex-Beatz had to feel as if this was somehow directed to her.
Moments after Alicia's tweet, Mashonda fires back with:
"After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I’ve never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I’ve reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.
I was a fan of AK’s last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.
Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.
My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.
If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now
This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!
I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what’s real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the “people”, this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, Im sure you want to find a balance in this as well.
I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.
If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I’m not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

Lions end losing streak
DETROIT -- Finally, the Detroit Lions are winners.
With rookie Matthew Stafford leading the way, Detroit ended a 19-game losing streak with a 19-14 victory over the Washington Redskins on Sunday.The Lions (1-2) had not won since Dec. 23, 2007 and their skid matched the second longest in NFL history. They no longer will have to hear about closing in on Tampa Bay's record 26-game losing streak set during the 1976-77 seasons."We've still got a long way to go, but we've got a quarterback, and that's a big piece of the puzzle," said Lions vice chairman Bill Ford, whose father owns the team.Stafford threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Bryant Johnson in the first quarter and Detroit added a fourth-quarter score after a pass interference penalty. This Just In:: Tim Tebow Leaves This Week's Game In An Ambulance!
LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Florida quarterback Tim Tebow was taken to the UK Medical Center by ambulance after taking a shot to the head while being sacked in the third quarter of the No. 1 Gators' game against Kentucky at Commonwealth Stadium on Saturday night.
"We're going to find out more about Tim. We believe it is a concussion. He got hit pretty good, but that's one tough cat. Our team will pray for him and he'll be fine," coach Urban Meyer said during his postgame press conference.
Tebow's parents joined him at the hospital, and the team was unsure if he was going to be kept overnight.
Tebow, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, was sacked by Wildcats defensive end Taylor Wyndham on a third-and-6 play from the Kentucky 9. Tebow didn't appear to see Wyndham, who hit him squarely in the chest. As Tebow fell to the ground, the back of his head hit Gators tackle Marcus Gilbert's knee.
Tebow, a senior from Jacksonville, Fla., lay motionless on the turf for several seconds. He was eventually able to sit up, and was then helped to the Florida sideline by trainers and coaches, where his parents came down from the stands to join him. At one point, the entire Florida team was on the field to check on their star quarterback. Kentucky officials had a motorized cart and backboard in place to remove Tebow from the field.
With 12:41 left in the game, Tebow was taken off the field on a motorized cart. He appeared to vomit in a bag while he was being driven to the Gators' locker room.
Before he was hurt, Tebow completed 5 of 10 passes for 103 yards with one touchdown. He ran 16 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
The Gators kicked a 32-yard field goal after Tebow left the game, giving them a 34-7 lead with 3:45 to go in the third quarter. He was replaced by sophomore John Brantley, who has attempted 24 passes in two games.
A Florida official confirmed Saturday night that Tebow was one of four players who flew to Lexington, Ky., on one of three planes.
A charter plane carried most of the players to Lexington, Ky., on Friday afternoon. Tebow, defensive backs Joe Haden and Major Wright and receiver Riley Cooper, who were all suffering from respiratory illness, took a second plane later in the day. Five other players, including starting guard James Wilson and starting linebacker A.J. Jones, took a third plane. The Florida official said the five players were suffering from gastrointestinal illness.
Florida has an open date next week before facing No. 7 LSU on Oct. 10 in Baton Rouge.
