Kid Cudi:: A League of His Own

If you don't know, you better ask somebody bout 'Dat Kid From Cleveland'! Kid Cudi's debut album Man On The Moon: The End Of Day is a force to be reckoned with in this day and age of hip-hop. Plies' album was titled "The Definition of Real", but I think I'd give this one to the 'Kid this time around. Real is what you get when you listen to this instant classic given to us by Mr. Solo Dolo! Common even puts his stamp of approval on the album by lacing the 15-track disc with poetic interludes that instantly lets you know that Cudi is on a level far beyond rookie status. On every track, he openly expresses his wants and dreams for life in his very own sing-song storytelling style. You wont hear your typical zero-substance talk of chains, whips, and and over-sized egos on this album. Instead, you'll hear stories of his past and present journey to the so-called bigger and better life that money brings all over futuristic/spacey beats.
KiD CuDi brilliantly combined both new age and classic hip-hop with lyrics full of determination and sympathy. His flow come off ass relaxed but very exciting. All in all this record is very creative, unique and futuristic.

Our top 5 trax are:
1. The Sky Might Fall
2. Enter Galactic - If you can't do what you imagine then what is imagination to you?
3. The Soundtrack To My Life
4. Hyyer
5. My World / In my Dreams

Do yourself a favor and go cop this album RIGHT NOW!
